October 10, 2009 – Nescafe 3in1 Soundskool College Band Competition had their regional eliminations in Parkmall, Mandaue City, Cebu. 15 college bands from different part of the Visayas showed-off their talent as they compete for the 3 spots which will give them the chance to shot for fame.

List of 15 College Bands in the Regional Eliminations

• Green Peace – STI Tacloban Campus
• SpoonPlay – Eastern Visayas State University
• Black Mantra – Cebu Institute of Technology
• Squared Box – AMA Computer College
• BRIPNY SKWR – DataMex Institute of Computer Technology, Tacloban City
• Final Warnings – Aklan State University
• Frannie – Asian Development Foundation College
• Aesthetics – Aklan State University – CIT
• Melted Eyes – Leyte Colleges
• 3 Hours and 10 – University of the Visayas
• Burning Day Light – Silliman University
• Sundae Special – Iloilo Doctors College
• Wazabee – University of Negros Occidental Recoletos
• Lady Suzette – AMA Computer College, Tacloban Campus
• Obis – Carlos Hilado Memorial State College

But only 3 bands will be chosen to advance in the Grand Finals Night on November 14 at the Ninoy Aquino Sports Stadium in Metro Manila.
